No, we don’t make cars. But our presence at the 83rd annual Geneva Motor Show which opens to the public today, is impossible to miss.
The newest cars from McLaren, Lamborghini, Audi, Skoda, BMW and Volkswagen all feature impressive infotainment systems or digital instrument clusters driven by NVIDIA processors.
They include the new VW Golf, named “Car of the Year” at the show by the assembled press. The Golf features a brand new touch-screen infotainment system powered by our Tegra processor.
The award-winning Vollkswagen Golf features an NVIDIA-powered infotainment system.
The Skoda Octavia was another new addition to the Tegra powered car family, and features a “projected, capacitive” touch panel that can react to finger movements before a user has even touched its surface.
Another car that’s impossible to overlook: the 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith, and its full-featured NVIDIA-based infotainment and navigation system. This is the most powerful Rolls-Royce, yet, thanks to a specially-tuned version of Rolls-Royce’s V12 engine.
