Google will introduce the much-rumored unified messaging client, Babel, at Google I/O next week, reports TechRadar. Picking up the more formal, and familiar, name of Google Hangouts, this is the messaging service that is expected to be cross-platform and tie together a number of existing products. No new details were given in regards to Hangouts/Babel; however, Google reportedly emailed the team yesterday thanking them for their work on the project.
