Moto X is finally confirmed at D11 by Motorola CEO

moto x Finally, it’s happened. The Moto X phone has finally been officially confirmed and by the CEO of Motorola, Dennis Woodside, no less. Speaking at D11 today, he confirmed that the Moto X phone will be Motorola’s flagship device and even went as far to say that the phone was in his pocket, but wasn’t going to take it out. What a tease.

The Moto X will apparently be “more contextually aware. And you can interact with it in different ways.” I don’t know if that strictly refers to the phone’s capabilities, but it does pique my interest as to what this might suggest for any Key Lime Pie integration.

There’s little else to go on than this; Woodside came up short of confirming the line of Moto X phones we’ve also been expecting, but did say that Motorola is committed to making high quality, low cost devices. Besides the Moto X of course.

At the very least, I know we can all breath a sigh of relief as we’ve finally got the official word that the Moto X is coming at least in some shape or form. What are your thoughts on this announcement? Has your interest been piqued again? Let us know below.
