Samsung has released an official video of the Galaxy S4’s features via its YouTube channel.
There are so many features packed into the Galaxy S4 it can be a bit difficult to keep track and catalogue them all, but if anyone can do it it’s the company which made the thing in the first place.
The video is a fairly comprehensive breakdown of camera and UI features as well as design elements of the handset. If you’ve just bought one and are feeling a bit overwhelmed it’s a pretty good way of familiarising yourself with the device’s capabilities. Or, if you were thinking of buying one and wondering what it can do that’s actually new, this is a good way of finding out.
We’re not too sure about the voice over guy saying that a Drama Shot picture is ‘fun’ with all the enthusiasm of a funeral director, but apart from that it’s a fairly solid showcase.
Video chapters include Hardware & Design, Camera Experience, Sharing Tools (including Group Play), Convenience Features and Health Features.
By far the biggest section is the ‘Convenience Features’ which includes all the Air Gesture controls and other functions which allow you to control the device without touching the display. The camera section is also pretty extensive owing to the Galaxy S4’s range of imaging abilities.
