Sony’s rumoured ‘Togari’ phablet has leaked again and this time there are many more tantalising details.

- Sony Honami will have 20-MP camera, metal and glass body
It’ll be known as the Sony Xperia L4, sport a 6.44-inch Full HD display and will also have stylus-like support, just like Samsung’s Galaxy Note range.
Well, not exactly like the Galaxy Note range, according to the reports the Xperia L4 will allow you to use pretty much anything as a stylus, even a pencil.
According to PhoneArena, two ‘independent sources’, namely Greek tech site Techblog.gr and Gizbot.com, have heard from Sony representatives at official Sony events that the device is real and that it sports these marvellous capacitive capabilities.
They also spoke about the Full HD IPS display, which means a 1080p resolution and some sky-high pixel density. It’ll have Sony’s OptiContrast and Mobile Bravia Engine 2 layers.
Hopefully Sony will have learnt a thing or two from the Xperia Z, however, as despite carrying an excellent quality display it seemed that such fantastic visuals came at the cost of the battery life. The Xperia Z was very quick to drain in our experience with the device.
The reports claim the Xperia L4 is well on the way to being released too, with mention of a Summer launch.
Other specs are the same as what we’ve heard previously, which is either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 or Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU, plus a 13-megapixel Exmor RS camera.
Storage will reportedly be 32GB and it’ll pack 4G LTE, NFC, infrared, a bundled in stylus and a huge 3,500mAh battery pack. It may also feature a 2-megapixel Exmor R front-facing camera. There’s been no mention of Sony’s recent fetish for certified dust and waterproofing which we’ve seen on the Xperia Z, amongst others, but we wouldn’t be surprised.
How much of this is the real deal isn’t clear, we could be squarely in hoaxville, but for now it’s sounding promising. We’ll keep an eye out for more info, good or ill, and will let you know accordingly.
