Modern Combat 4 Meltdown Is “Coming Very Soon” To Android

Gameloft‘s Modern Combat franchise is the undisputed daddy of first-person shooters on the mobile platform and it’s following up on last year’s hit, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, with a huge update called Modern Combat 4 Meltdown, adding a ton of new goodies.

The goodies include:

• 3 new maps


• 2 new weapons


• 2 multiplayer modes


• New perks and a new specialization

That’s a pretty impressive list of updates and should breathe just enough life into Zero Hour to tide old and new fans over until the release of Modern Combat 5 later this year. The best news of all is that this huge update is absolutely free to all owners of Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour (Take that paid DLC!).

The update was due to go out on June 19th for iOS, but Android owners were told that it would be a little while longer. Have any MC4 veterans received the update yet? And for those of you who haven’t picked it up yet, the Play Store details are down below.
