Nokia’s EOS PureView camera phone has leaked again but this time we can see it up and running with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 software.
There are also a few other snippets of interesting information which have come to light in this latest leak. Firstly, we can see the display switched on while the phone is clearly in bright sunlight. While it is a little washed out, this is to be expected, the main point here being that it’s actually readable outside which is a massive plus for the handset.

Furthermore, the source of the leak – Twitter account Vizileaks – described some details of the handset. It’s said to be ‘solid, smooth, a bit weighty’, but that latter point is probably to be expected considering the 41-megapixel camera housed in the back.
‘It feels cool and metallic, although not sure if it is actually metal or whether its a premium polycarbonate plastic, either way, it feels great in the hand,’ said the report.
The design is said to be similar to the Lumia 920, apart from the camera, and as with previous Lumia handsets the physical control keys are all down the right-hand side of the device, including, of course, a dedicated camera key.
The phone uses a unibody construction just as with previous flagship Lumias, so there’s a SIM card tray on the top, while at the bottom you’ve got a microUSB port, a drilled speaker grille and a hole for a lanyard.
There’s a small port on the back panel which Vizileaks believes is to accommodate a charging cover for use with Nokia’s Wireless Charging pads, a method we’ve seen Nokia use on the Lumia 925. The camera is designated as XX Megapixel, which may be a placeholder and the phone has both an LED flash and a Xenon flash, according to the report.
The Nokia EOS is pegged for a launch on July 9.
