How to search for messages within BlackBerry Hub on the BlackBerry Q5

We walk you through the steps required to search through messages within BlackBerry Hub on the BlackBerry Q5





The BlackBerry Hub feature within BlackBerry 10 not only groups together all your emails and interactions with connected accounts but also allows you to search through them with ease.


Following just a few simple steps lets you search for specific keywords within emails, tweets and other social media interactions, making finding what it is that you're after a synch. Here's how to do it:




  1. Wake the device up with an upward swipe from the bottom of the display

  2. Swipe left to access the BlackBerry Hub




  1. Tap 'Search' at the bottom of the screen

  2. Enter a search term into the search bar and hit return




  1. Tap the 'Action' tab to narrow your search field by selecting one of the available options




  1. You can also 'search without tapping the search icon. Just long press on a message and the side menu that appears from the right hand side of the screen will include the options to 'Search by Subject' and 'Search by Sender'.
