More pictures have leaked showcasing Apple’s next crop of phones and as well as clearer images of the budget iPhone Light’s colourful shells there’s a shot of the premium iPhone 5S’s aluminium casing.
- Plastic iPhone shows up - is it iPhone 6 or iPhone Light?
- iPhone Light pictures add blue and white to the colour mix
The images come from Taiwanese Apple site AppleDaily and it’s reported that the shot of the iPhone Light panels shows the full colour range: red, yellow, white, blue and green. It was previously thought there might also be a black version but, for now, this appears not to be the case. Additionally it’s said the bezel surrounding the display will be white on every colour variant.
The pictures of the alleged iPhone 5S panel show that, as per the rumours, it won’t be tremendously different from the iPhone 5. The latest set of details in circulation say it’ll have 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE-Advanced support and a 12-megapixel iSight camera. It’s also pegged to use a 4-inch IGZO display at the same 1136x640 pixel resolution and 326 pixels-per-inch pixel density as its predecessor.
The processor is thought to be the same as the iPhone 5 but it may feature an updated quad-core graphics processing unit (GPU). Previously we heard the iPhone 5S could feature a fingerprint scanner to compliment some new payment service Apple may be planning, but this may turn out to be a load of codswallop.
AppleDaily even has some prices for the iPhone Light, though we would take this with an unhealthily large dose of salt at this point. It says the 16GB version will be priced at $349 (£234), the 32GB at $449 (£302) and the 64GB at $549 (£369).
