More pictures have leaked online showing the affordable iPhone Light’s back panel in a range of colours.
The images show what we have seen before, the iPhone Light’s plastic back panel stamped with the Apple logo and iPhone branding, with colour choices including yellow, green, white, blue and red.

While nothing new is shown, we are yet to see a black version, for example, these shots add weight to previous leaks and rumours. We’ve seen these panels leaked so many times now from different sources it would now appear to be almost a certainty that the cheaper iPhone, which may be called the iPhone Light, will arrive this Autumn.
We have also not yet seen the front fascia, except in fan renders, which is said to be white for every colour variant.
The new set of images come via the Twitter account of Sonny Dickson where previous leaks have come from French tech site nowhereelse.fr, Chinese site AppleDaily and Chinese social network Weibo.
Some sources have even put forward possible prices, though their authenticity is questionable. It’s been said the 16GB version will be priced at $349 (£234), the 32GB at $449 (£302) and the 64GB at $549 (£369), but frankly we’ll wait for Apple’s official figures before getting excited.
Apple CEO Tim Cook has previously hinted at a range of new products being launched in Autumn 2013. We’ve also seen pictures leak of the iPhone 5S’s back panel with a bare metal finish. Some commentators believe the iPhone Light and iPhone 5S will arrive at the same launch event, while others say one will follow the other.
Apple’s next generation of tablets is also set to arrive during this later part of the year with new reports pegging the iPad 5 for a launch in September, but this time it’s said to be arriving on its own with the iPad Mini 2 still needing some tweaking and set to turn up later on at a separate event. In October 2012 both the iPad Mini and the iPad 4 were announced at the same event.
