Moto X benchmarks beat Nexus 4, but beaten by HTC One

The Moto X is more powerful than the Nexus 4, but less powerful than the Galaxy S4 and HTC One, benchmarks reveal





Moto X benchmarks reveal the upcoming device is more powerful than the Nexus 4.


The AT&T variant of the Moto X has appeared in a number of pictures on Android Police and the specs are as follows:



  • A dual-core Qualcomm S4 Pro MSM8960DT 1.7GHz CPU, Adreno 320 GPU

  • 2GB of RAM

  • 720x1184 4.7-inch screen

  • 2.1MP front-facing camera / 10.5MP rear camera with flash

  • Android 4.2.2

  • 16GB internal memory, 12GB of which is user-accessible

  • NFC

  • 2,200 mAh non-removable battery

  • 128.5x65mm

  • No external storage


The AnTuTu score stands at about 18.7 in the tests the tipster carried out:



Against the Nexus 4 and Galaxy Note 2, the Motorola Moto X wins, but it's not as powerful as the Nexus 4 or HTC One as seen in this group of benchmarks by PhoneArena:



Using the 3DMark Ice Storm Extreme, the Moto X wins against all other currently available devices, including the Nexus 4 which previously held the highest score, just above the HTC One.



The Motorola Moto X is expected to launch on August 1 in New York, but it's not clear whether the device will be launched in the UK or not yet.
