galaxy_note_720

Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy Note 3 will be among the first smartphones in the world to feature 3GB RAM, according to new reports. Korean newspaper, The Korea Economic Daily tells us the Galaxy Note 3 will have 3GB RAM, a rumor we’ve heard a time or two in the past.

As the next, next big thing, the Galaxy Note 2 successor has been tied to a myriad of rumors, including a flexible display, Android 4.3, and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor.

If history proves to be an accurate marker, we might look for multiple processor and/or display options for users in different markets. Some, for example, could see the Qualcomm CPU while others get Samsung’s own Octa-Core Exynos chipset.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Note 3 at IFA 2013 in Berlin at a Samsung Unpacked event.
