The ASUS Padfone 2 got its Jelly Bean Update last year, and since then, it has seen few new updates that were minor security and performance fixes. Even with all these updates, the Padfone has since been stuck at Android 4.1, with no word on when ASUS would roll out any kind of update for Android 4.2. But updates are updates, and we have this new update for you if you have not received an OTA for it. You can download directly from ASUS with link provided below. The file is a hefty 767 MB, so you definitely want to be on your WiFi. Let us know how it is.
