HTC One Developer Edition will Skip Android 4.2.2 and Go Straight to Android 4.3

So looks like anyone out there with a Developer Edition HTC One will be getting an Android 4.3 update before anything else. The Developer HTC One has been stuck on Android 4.1+ for quite awhile now, and everyone keeps bugging HTC for answers on when the Android 4.2.2 update will roll out. Let’s go to the tweets.

The image above shows HTC’s Global Sales President and Head of America Jason Mackenzie, responding to the concern of receiving the Android 4.2.2 update. I guess since Android 4.3 is so close, HTC plans to roll that version out instead of the minor update that is Android 4.2.2. It makes sense, and Samsung is apparently doing the same thing with a couple of their devices. Question is, will they do this for all their other devices that are sitting below Android 4.2? Time will tell, and we will keep you posted.
