An HTC One X is the latest device to explode while charging.
The HTC One X belonged to a Taiwanese man, who reported it started melting and burning while on charge according to CNET.
Luckily, the man wasn't injured when his device started overheating.
The news comes just a couple of weeks after an exploding iPhone left a lady dead, one lady with an injured eye and another man in a coma in China after their iPhones exploded.
Another victim's Hong Kong home was destroyed when his Samsung Galaxy S4 heated up so much, it set fire to his sofa.
In all these incidents, fake chargers have been blamed and Apple has now launched a charger exchange programme allowing people to trade in their fake chargers for a genuine charger for a reduced price.
We're yet to hear whether Samsung and HTC will be rolling out a similar plan, but will let you know as soon as we hear anything.
Our advice is always use the official charger that came with your iPhone, be wary about buying a fake charger and if your device does start to get overly hot while charging, unplug the charger from the wall immediately, without putting yourself in danger.
Be safe, people.
