Another batch of photos has leaked online showing the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C ahead of their expected launch on September 10.
As with previous leaks, the new images come from Chinese social network Weibo and both the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C are pictured alongside a current generation iPhone 5. We can see that all three models sport the same 4-inch display panel, contrary to some earlier reports which claimed Apple was re-fitting for production of a larger-screened handset.
As per previous rumours and leaks, the iPhone 5S is expected to be similar to the current iPhone 5 with an aluminium bodyshell while the iPhone 5C is made from plastic and is slightly larger.
Rumours suggest the iPhone 5S will definitely be announced on September 10 but rather than hitting stores in a matter of weeks, eager buyers may have to wait until October 25.
While some sources have continued to claim the iPhone 5C will launch alongside its premium cousin there are still rumblings saying it will see the light of day at a separate event and it’s therefore not clear when it will become available.
The iPhone 5S will allegedly run an updated processor chip and an improved camera with a dual-LED flash. Rumours continue to emerge suggesting there will be a fingerprint scanner built into the Home button and this will be used in conjunction with a new, as-yet un-detailed, Apple e-Wallet remote payment service.
