The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C certainly look set to launch in the second half of September as US network AT&T has banned all holiday for its employees for the period.
The news comes via BGR which says, 'This has taken place every single year starting with the first iPhone launch, and it limits AT&T employee vacations and time off. We were also told that AT&T will not be launching any other high-profile devices during the second half of September, again confirming that this time period is for the upcoming iPhones.'
T-Mobile US has also sent a memo out to staff forbidding them from taking holiday at the end of September too. Tmo News got the scoop that said employees were unable to take any annual leave between September 20 and September 22.
The website did say this was subject to change, but sources said it will be iPhone related.
September 20 has already been leaked as the on-sale date for the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, with the announcement due to hit on September 10.
The iPhone 5S is said to be arriving in four different colours - white and silver, black and slate, black and graphite and white and champagne/gold.
The device will feature pretty much the same spec as the iPhone 5, with a 4-inch screen, iOS 7 and storage options of 16GB, 32Gb and 64GB. The only real change is said to be a dual LED flash accompanying the 8-megapixel camera and the possibility of an updated processor, said to be the A7.
A pretty far-out rumour is also that there will be a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button, but that's all speculation right now.
The iPhone 5C is a budget version of the iPhone. It will sport a plastic casing in an array of colours (so far, red, yellow, green, blue and white have all been rumoured), with a 4-inch screen and probably the exact same spec as the iPhone 4S or iPhone 5.
