Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids - a version of its Android tablet built specifically for children.
The tablet is available in a bright yellow colour, designed to attract children.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids features the same internals as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 - a 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for bumping up the storage and a 7-inch 1024x600 display.
There's a 3-megapixel camera on the front and a 1.3-megpaixel camera on the back. The tablet is powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
The tablet runs on Android 4.1 and comes preloaded with lots of entertaining content for children, including educational apps, games, entertainment and books.
There are also a handful of security features onboard including a password-protected Time Management tool that prevents youngsters from downloading expensive apps and i-app purchases. It also means you can monitor your child's usage - after a set time, the tablet will lock, meaning no playing games all night long in bed!
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids features Samsung's App Store and a Kids Store with specially-curated apps and content, guaranteed to be child-friendly.
You can also purchase extra accessories, including a stand case with Samsung's C Pen stylus and an easier to grip outer shell.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids will start rolling out in Korea, but will then be available in China, Europe, the US, Africa, South America and Southeast Asia in time for Christmas.
