Hashtag Highlight: #portraitsinpuddles

Earlier this year, Adam Elkins (@bigmanjapan) began a hashtag series called #portraitsinpuddles, featuring photos of people standing next to puddles, their reflections cast in the water below. For his portraits, Adam splits the frame between the physical and reflected, showing his subject in the top half and their reflection in the bottom half of his photos.

A few other Instagrammers have discovered Adam’s tag and added portraits of their own. The next time you’re out with a friend after a rainy day, try your hand at a #portraitsinpuddles photo!
