DynamicNotifications Updates Bringing in Customizations and Other Awesome Features [APP OF THE WEEK]

DynamicNotifications has been welcomed into the community as one of the best apps that mimic Moto X’s Active Notifications. Now I have already featured this app once before on app of the week, but a couple weeks ago, it updated with some pretty nifty features you all should know about.

First and foremost; customizations. Before, DynamicNotifications had one type of lockscreen, and there was nothing you could do about it. Now you can customize the lockscreen like you would in a custom ROM. You can choose the color of the font, whether or not you want the clock, and you can add app shortcuts to your favorite apps. You can also add a clear all shortcut to get rid of all current notifications. For more customizations, you have a choice on choosing a solid color background, or you can choose a wallpaper that you would like to see every time you open your device.

Another little added bonus to DynamicNotifications, is a feature that allows you choose which notification to open. Before you could only open the newest notification, and the other notification icons stood below for you to only read the message by pressing them. Now you can press and swipe up to bring that old notification to the center, so you can easily shortcut to the app to see it in its entirety. I really dig this feature, but I am still hoping for an update to add the contacts picture like the Moto X has.
