MixBit MixBit, the video app from the YouTube founders, has arrived on Google Play today. The app gives recording, editing and publishing capabilities, with each clip up to 16 seconds in length.

The app first became available on iOS in August of last year under AVOS Systems, comprised of YouTube founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen also Delicious and Wanpai.

While clips are only 16 seconds in length, you can also combine 256 clips to create an hour-long video. Users drag and drop specific segments or trim and delete clips from within the app.

Using the MixBit website, community members can share their videos for collaboration and remix other videos. You can also work on multiple projects and choose to publish them privately or share them publicly.
