Sony has opened up a PS4 Lounge at Covent Garden, London, to give fans a chance to play with the next-gen console ahead of its official launch on November 29.
The PS4 Lounge launch saw London’s OXO Tower on the South Bank illuminated with PlayStation button symbols and it will be open from now until December 1 at 17 Bedfore Street, WC2E 9HE, so feel free to pop down for a session when you get the chance.
What will you be able to play? Well, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, FIFA 14 and Killzone: Shadow Fall to name but a few of the big launch titles being previewed.
PlayStation Access members will be invited to exclusive events taking place on November 15 and November 22 in the Lounge, which will include tournaments via Driveclub and Resogun with prizes up for grabs. Sony is also hosting networking events for creative types on November 19 and November 26, so if you’re keen to break into the gaming industry it might be worth a look.
The PlayStation 4 (PS4) is being launched on November 29, just in time for the Christmas rush, where it’s expected to go head-to-head with Microsoft’s Xbox One. Many titles on these next-gen consoles are available on both platforms, but there are some launch exclusives you’ll only be able to get on one device or the other.
