Calling all millionaires. Do you have £258,252.58 to spare? You could be the sole owner of the world’s most expensive Android app. You could also tell us what it’s actually all about as well.
Forte Apache has appeared on the Google Play Store and will set you back over a quarter of a million pounds. Sadly there haven’t been any reviews as of yet, we’re assuming no one has been brave enough to part with their cash.
The description is brief and in Portugese but translates as “Fort Apache Play Online, remember your childhood! Defend your fort apache American Indian!” Then there’s a bunch of strange screenshots which seem to show a child's playset grabbed from a desktop PC interface.
So what could you buy instead for that £258,252.58? That’d let you get your hands on a house, depending where you live in the UK, a high-end sports car or even a fleet of good vehicles.
But the best way to spend this money would surely be giving it to the creators Fort Apache. The company has released another 20+ apps in its history but the majority are available for free, quite a price jump, there is one other listed at a similarly high price point, however, called "Skate".
We’ve reached out to Google for comment about how the app has appeared online but sadly there's no response just yet. It does beg the question, what is the most expensive iOS app available?
