The newly emerged service offers 3G+ and covers 97% of the UK. It also works in 39 countries outside of the UK. MobiData can be used at home, at work and everywhere in between.
Packages for MobiData come in 1GB, 5GB or 10GB flavours and work on one-month or three-month rolling contracts. All packages can also be cancelled at any time.
Another feature of MobiData is the fact it notifies you once you’ve used up 50%, 85% and 100% of your data meaning you can always keep an eye on how much you’ve got left.
If you do end up going over, MobiData will continue to inform you every £10 you spend so you don’t rack up a bill of hundreds of pounds.
This contract is especially good for tablet users who are usually tied into an expensive 24 month contracts when trying to connect their 3G enabled tablets.
When using MobiData outside of the UK, the service is available in 39 other countries but at a cost of 15p per MB.
MobiData claim to have speeds faster than EE’s 3G network but not as fast as EE’s 4G, understandably. All MobiData users will receive a free, automatic update to 4G once it launches such a service later in 2014.
