Steve Jobs has been immortalised in many ways including a biography, a Hollywood blockbuster and most recently his very own US stamp. Now an artist has unveiled a statue of Apple’s founding father and it hasn’t gone down too well across the internet.
Serbian sculptor Dragan Radenovic created the sculpture which was unveiled on what would have been Steve Job’s 59birthday. It’s not your traditional status though.
It features Job’s head on the top of a pillar with some Cyrillic letters on the sides and the numbers 1 and 0 to reference binary coding. It was selected over 10,000 other entries in an international art competition and you really have to wonder what the other 9,999 artists created to make the judges choose this.
The status has even been endorsed by Apple's Jony Ive who said he is a big fan of the statues design. It is soon to be transported to Cupertino, California where Apple’s HQ is. If that all goes to plan, Radenovic is set to construct a full size version of the statue on the campus.
Here’s what it looks like, we warn you though, it’s certainly not the Venus de Milo.
So naturally the internet went a little crazy and hasn't been very kind. Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter.

Apple's new statue of Steve Jobs is, er, interesting. Nice to see they took inspiration from Terminator II, though. http://bit.ly/1eFfFsq

Really, #Apple? This is the tribute to a man who focused so much on design and user experience? So confused. http://bit.ly/1hpjozz

Looks like he got the carbonite treatment that Han Solo got. Doesn't look like it went as well though. http://bit.ly/1hpjnvs
