Chinese promotional images for the Nokia Lumia 630 have leaked together with some spec details.
The dual-SIM Windows Phone handset will feature a 4.5in display with an 800x480 WVGA resolution, while processing power comes from a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip with 1GB of RAM.
There’s a 5-megapixel primary camera but it won’t have a flash. Despite Microsoft requiring a physical camera key on Windows Phone handsets this device doesn’t appear to have one – make of that what you will.
According to reports, Nokia will unveil the Lumia 630 at Microsoft’s BUILD conference which begins on April 2. The conference is also expected to see the reveal of Windows Phone 8.1. Allegedly the phone will launch in China initially by mid-April priced at 1,000 Yuan. It’s not clear whether it will come to other territories afterwards but that price equates to around $160, €120 or £96.
It seems likely the Lumia 630 will come to other markets though. By Nokia’s own convention, the Lumia 630 would logically be the successor to the Lumia 625 and that did land in regions outside of Asia.
