Will they? Wont’ they? The Samsung premium flagship conundrum is turning into a bit of a soap opera. Just when you think the Galaxy F is all mouth and no trousers another leak pops up and makes you doubt again.
As per the usual drill, prolific leaker @evleaks has taken to Twitter once again to show us an alleged product render of the premium handset. Visible around the edge is a slight gold hue, suggesting this is one of those blingtastic editions. However, it’s a somewhat unsatisfying leak considering the premium metal is thought to adorn the back of the device, while what we have here is a view of the all-too-familiar frontage. In other words this might as well be just a render of the existing Galaxy S5. Ho Hum.
Also of note, as GSMArena points out, the date displayed on the lockscreen is incorrect. The aforementioned publication doesn’t go as far as suggesting this, but this could indicate it’s a hoax. The lock screen shows Wednesday 12 September, even though September 12 is a Friday for 2014. Phone manufacturers often indicate launch dates for devices in product renders with the phone’s time and date, and the Galaxy F is suspected of showing up at IFA alongside the Galaxy Note 4 in early Septmber.
