WhatsApp is back on Windows Phone after a two week break.
The popular messaging app, now owned by Facebook, was pulled from the Windows Phone Store as the last update (version 3) was reportedly plagued with some pretty serious bugs.
A large number of users reported that notifications were disabled and could not be re-enabled, and the app would also throw up a boatload of error messages.
In the new build these issues are allegedly fixed. The latest version also adds new chat backgrounds, enhanced privacy settings and the option of selecting a custom notification sound.
Joe Belfiore, Microsoft's Windows Phone chief, took to Twitter to announce WhatsApp's reinstatement on the Windows Phone Store, and you can now download the new version here.
