We love it when a plan comes together.
Last month, Xioami launched the first production device equipped with our new Tegra K1 processor. So this month, we’re launching a toolkit that will let developers take advantage of all that Tegra K1 has to offer.
Tegra K1 is the first mobile processor built with the Kepler GPU architecture used in our GeForce GPUs. Our goal: to make setting up and managing an Android development environment that can take advantage of that power quick and easy.
The Tegra Android Development Pack puts software development kits, developer tools, drivers, and operating system images into a single package.
Two new additions: CUDA 6.0 support and Tegra Graphics Debugger. Tegra Graphics debugger is a console grade tool that helps developers debug and profile OpenGL ES 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.0, OpenGL ES 3.1 and OpenGL 4.x.
Our developer kit also includes two old favorites. Nsight Tegra, Visual Studio Edition unlocks native Android application development and debugging in Microsoft Visual Studio. Tegra System Profiler, an interactive tool for helping developers analyze application performance.
The result: developers can now bring more new games to more mobile devices. That includes games built using Unreal Engine 4, the world’s most advanced game engine.
With all this power, developers are now in a position to develop the best mobile gaming experiences on Android with Tegra K1.
