Creepy New "Snipp3t" App For iPhone Makes Following Celebrities EVEN Easier

Microsoft has launched a new app called Snipp3t that aims to help you track your favorite celebrities and find out the latest gossip

News

Whether it’s Justin Bieber, Katy Perry or every member of One Direction, Microsoft’s new app will help you stalk them even more efficiently than Twitter does. Snipp3t is a new app from Microsoft that allows you to keep up to date with your favourite celebrities latest movements through the power of Bing.

If you download the app for iOS, you’ll need the latest iOS 7 for it to run. From here you’ll be asked to enter your favourite celebrities and subscribe to their news feed. There are over 10,000 celebrities to choose from.

Once you’re connected up you’ll then receive a stream of the latest “news” – we use that term lightly – that will allow you to keep up to date with their latest movements. The profiles on each celebrity are quite in depth bringing in photos, videos, social networking accounts and the news articles that power the app. It even connects into Twitter itself to bring their latest Tweets to your eyes.

Snipp3t will also bring in anyone you’ve liked on Facebook automatically. So if you’re a fan of a Kardashian on Facebook you won't need to select her again on Snipp3t.

Plus you can then connect in with your friends to talk about the latest gossip. Instead of talking about your boring day, you can talk about Katy Perry’s instead.

The app is currently only available in the US only. Trust us – we tried to download it in a bid to sate our unhealthy addiction to Jeff Goldblum.

Just don’t get us started on that name, what does the 3 even mean? It makes even less sense than David Fincher’s Se7en.
