HTC One Max for Verizon gets a long overdue Android 4.4 update

Verizon owners of HTC's One Max phablet are now receiving the update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The new firmware for the 5.9-inch device will be seeding to Verizon owners in the US in the coming days. Build number 3.09.605.2 brings a boatload of improvements over the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean build the device initially shipped with, most notably the update to HTC's Sense overlay to version 6. This includes: Adding and removing content from BlinkFeed UI refresh with new color palette and emotive typography Update to the latest Camera UI New simplified Gallery including video highlights Update homescreen outside of Settings menu HTV sense TV update Customizable fonts Various bug fixes and improvements The update should be streaming OTA to Verizon customers now.
