Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 will be unveiled in less than a week, the manufacturer is planning to announce the new phablet at an event on September 3. It’s right before IFA 2014 in Berlin and is heavily rumoured to be the unveiling of the Galaxy Note 4.
We’ve seen various teaser videos and images coming from Samsung hyping up the announcement. The latest featured the tagline “Ready to Note” alongside the release date.
A hands-on video has now leaked of the handset, it comes from a source in Vietnam. It’s a very short video and only shows a quick glimpse of the device, and even then the Note 4 is presented inside a dummy box that means we don’t get a full look at the design of the handset.
It does show the first signs of the S Pen. The new stylus comes in a black and gold colour scheme as well as having the same button we saw on the Note 3’s S Pen.

Other rumours for the Galaxy Note 4 have suggested it will have a 5.7in Super AMOLED screen with a QHD resolution of 1440 x 2560. There’s also rumoured to be a 16MP camera including optical image stabilisation. Two versions are expected to be launched, one with a Exynos 5433 chipset and another with a Snapdragon 805. We expect the Snapdragon 805 version to launch in the UK.
On top of that we expect to see the fingerprint scanner and heart rate monitor from the Samsung Galaxy S5. Other sources have suggested it may even come with a retina scanner for added security.
