Google patent shows double keyboard for language translation

Google_Translation_Double_Keyboard

Google has applied for a patent that could help with language translation on mobile devices by displaying two keyboards.

The two keyboards are positioned at each end of the device and allows two people to type in an instant-messaging fashion to each other in different languages, with the messages translated in real-time.

You would simply type your message in English for example and it would arrive at the other end of the device in French, and vice versa.

Sure, patents don’t always make it to fruition, but this one seems a pretty cool idea, right?
