Just a few days ago, Motorola officially released the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the 2nd generation of Moto X and G, and I am sure this announcement made all the Verizon Moto X users jealous, but worry not because today is your day. Verizon’s Moto X (2nd Gen) is now receiving the Lollipop update over-the-air. The update comes with the new Material Design, and also there are some features added by Motorola as well. The size of the update is 600 MB, which means that the new update will really change the way you use your phone. These are the instructions given by Motorola:

If you have received a notification message for this update:

1. Select “Yes, I’m in”.


2. After the software is downloaded, select “Install now”.


3. After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.


4. Your phone is now updated with 22.21.11

If you have not received a notification message for this update, follow the steps below to manually update your phone:

1. Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.


2. Select “About phone”.


3. Select “System updates”.


4. Select “Yes, I’m in”. After the software is downloaded, select “Install now”.


5. After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.


6. Your phone is now updated to 22.21.11
