Great news Moto X (2nd Gen) and Moto G (2nd Gen) owners, Motorola is rolling out Lollipop to your devices!
“It’s time to unwrap: Android 5.0, Lollipop is here”
I went to write an article on users reporting their Moto G’s (2nd Gen) receiving Lollipop, when Motorola went and announced it officially! For now, this is for the Moto X (2nd Gen) Pure edition, and Moto G (2nd Gen) US GSM and Global GSM (only those sold in US). They say that they’re working hard with carriers to roll this update out to carrier versions of these devices.
Included with this update is Material Design, more control over notifications, multiple profiles, updated quick settings, battery saver mode, and more.
