Vodafone has revealed it is getting in on the Black Friday sales madness this weekend with deals taking up to 50% off prices of both pay-as-you-go and pay monthly plans, and “big savings” on tablet devices.
If you don’t know what Black Friday is it’s a sales weekend that we’ve somehow, inexplicably, inherited from the USA over the last few years despite not actually celebrating the Thanksgiving weekend with which it coincides.
Vodafone’s Black Friday deals can be found on the company’s webstore or in its bricks-and-mortar retail outlets starting from today and running until Monday December 1 2014.
At time of writing there’s a ‘Deal of the day’ on Vodafone’s site offering an LG G3 on a pay monthly contract with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of 3G mobile data per month, this is a 24 month contract that normally costs £30.50 per month, but for Black Friday it’s down to £22.50. You can also grab the same deal with a Samsung Galaxy S5, an HTC One M8, or a Nokia Lumia 930.
Vodafone also lists the Apple iPad Air with 4G connectivity with a £9 up-front cost at £27 per month, this has a 3GB 4G data allowance per month on a 24 month plan. Previously this tariff would cost you £33 per month.
For those who prefer PAYG you can grab an LG G2 cut from £320 to £150, an HTC One Mini 2 reduced from £375 down to £189, or Sony’s Xperia M2 Aqua from £150 down to £109.
