Daniel Arsham's (@danielarsham) latest show “Welcome to the Future” is something like an archeology site — set a thousand years from now. “It is as if you are viewing your own life and the things that define it from the future,” he says, of the Miami-based show at Locust Projects (@locustprojects).

The installation disrupts the gallery and provides interesting vantage points for viewers and photographers. “I have cut a 25-foot-diameter hole into the floor of the space and have created the fictional archeological site underneath,” he says. “I spent a lot of time thinking about how the audience would circulate within the space and peer down into the hole.”
