Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPwordstoimages

Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes and hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a post announcing the weekend’s project every Friday.

The goal this weekend is to capture creative photos and videos inspired by written words. Some tips to get you started:

• To start, think about words that have inspired you, whether they’re from poetry, literature, song lyrics or famous quotations. Whatever you choose, be sure to share it in your caption.


• As you plan your shoot, consider the imagery described in the words. Think about how you can recreate those images in your photo or video.


• Alternatively, try creating photos and videos that match how the words make you feel. Don’t be afraid to get abstract.
