Micromax has announced that it will updating its Canvas range of Android smartphones in India to Android 5.0 Lollipop update in the coming weeks. The first phone in the Canvas series to get the Lollipop update will be the Canvas Xpress A99, which is a budget smartphone. Company Spokesperson, Micromax Informatics Ltd. said, "As a brand, we are committed to keep our customers delighted with best in class technologies and experience. Riding on the same thought, we are today rolling out the Android L update with Canvas Xpress, making the overall user experience more efficient and seamless."
