Instagram @music’s Monthly Hashtag Project: #MHPhighnote

Monthly Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes and hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @music on Instagram.

New month, new hashtag project. For #MHPhighnote, we’re looking for the most energetic live music moments. That includes photos and videos of anything from a singer diving into the crowd to a fan at a concert belting out the lyrics to their favorite song to or a break dancer mid-back flip. We’ll feature the best submissions throughout March on Instagram @music.

Here are a few tips to get started:

• Head to a concert and take lots of pictures — the most dynamic moments will happen quickly and unexpectedly so make sure you have your camera ready.
• If you can’t attend a live show, pair up with a musician friend to create a posed, high-energy photo — and try incorporating colorful costumes and props to make your frame more eye-catching.
• If shooting video, use the slo-mo setting to add more drama to your capture.

PROJECT RULES: Please add the #MHPhighnote hashtag only to photos and videos taken this month and only submit your own. If you include music in your video submissions, please only use music to which you own the rights. Any tagged visual taken this month is eligible to be featured.
