“#hellomynameis Oumaima Aurag (@lmmima). I am a 20-year-old business student from Casablanca, Morocco. I was raised with laughter, my father’s camera, my mother’s culture, road trips and — between two cups of mint tea — long conversations about home, roots and identity. The mix between my Amazigh roots and metropolitan Morocco upbringing makes the jumble of my identity what it is. I consider speaking five languages and carrying my different cultures and traditions a blessing. The Morocco I share with the world is a Morocco that is trying hard, in many ways, to grow, and I am trying to help in my own way.
