Summer, Freedom and Fresh Georgia Goodness with the Peach Truck

Stephen and Jessica Rose call the Peach Truck (@thepeachtruck) their “cool” first child. “It gets invited places that we would never get invited,” 29-year-old Stephen says. “Peaches are the happiest fruit. There’s nothing else that would get me up every day to work this hard.” Five years ago, he left a corporate sales job (and cubicle) to travel with his wife from May through July, selling peaches grown from a fifth-generation farm in Fort Valley, Georgia — his hometown. “We’re a roadside fruit stand, but we’ve put a new spin on this old way of doing business,” he says. Stephen offers this advice to other small businesses on Instagram: “Don’t try to replicate other pages. Be uniquely yourself. If it’s compelling, people will follow.”
