Heidi Klum’s Halloween Transformations Are All in the Details

“When else are you able to completely transform and be something else for the night?” asks model and TV personality Heidi Klum (@heidiklum). Heidi’s commitment to transforming herself every Halloween has become a staple and part of the magic of the holiday. “I think one of my favorite costumes was the year I was a 95-year-old version of myself,” recalls Heidi. “I thought of every detail for the look — I had varicose veins, ridged nails, milky eyes and special teeth — all topped off with a beautiful vintage Chanel suit.” While fans wait in suspense until the big reveal on Halloween night, Heidi is always planning in advance. “I start thinking about my costume for the next year on November 1st! It might sound crazy but I really try to think of everything, make sure that every detail is thought out so the costume can be totally authentic,” she says. “I don’t like to do anything halfway.”
