We've speculated on the possible specs of a OnePlus 4 in a previous article, but now there's actually evidence circulating in the rumour mill that the next-gen handset is indeed in the works, as well as some little snippets of what we should expect.
A render and spec details have appeared via Chinese social network Weibo, where it's reported that the OnePlus 4 will sport a glass bodyshell packing a 5.3in display - that screen is supposedly an AMOLED setup with a tasty 2560x1440 pixel 2K resolution. The source also says we're looking at Qualcomm's Snapdragon 830 chipset, but there is the possiblity of a model using the Snapdragon 835 - perhaps in a similar setup to the current OnePlus 3's Snapdragon 820 and the new OnePlus 3T's Snapdragon 821 upgrade. Another variable spec seems to be the RAM, which is mentioned as being 6GB or 8GB, possibly again multiple variants depending on the processor. Onboard storage is a hefty 128GB and the battery is a massive 4,000mAh up from the OnePlus 3's 3000mAh.
The final spec detail is an alleged dual-camera sensor setup; there's no info on megapixel ratins, apertures or any of that jazz, the only snippet is that it will feature "AR/MR", which is believed to mean Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality - whatever Mixed Reality is supposed to mean.
