Sony's annual PlayStation Experience event just wrapped up and, as per usual, it was a platform for freshly revealing several in-devlopment titles for the firm's console. On the final day, Sony dropped a doozy in the form of a trailer and announcement of the sequel to one of the best action adventure games of all time - The Last Of Us.
Yes that's right folks, the zombie survival horror which blew everyone away with its immersive world design and atmosphere, brutal and realistic combat, and movie-level writing, story, and dialogue, is back for a part two; The Last Of Us Part Two.
Once again, Naughty Dog is the developer behind the wheel, so you can expect more of the same award-winning formula.
"The Last of Us Part Two takes place after the events of the original game," reports The Verge.
"In the trailer, an adult Ellie sings a brooding tune with the help of an acoustic guitar. Joel, her complicated father figure enters the room, and ask if the young woman plans to go through with an ambiguous plan. “I’m going to find and kill every last one of them,” she replies."
Sony and Naughty Dog have not yet announced a release date or any further details.
