UFC Star Ronda Rousey is Motivated by Redemption (and Revenge)

For UFC (@ufc) fighter Ronda Rousey (@rondarousey), competing is as much of a mental challenge as it is a physical one. Ronda says “redemption and revenge” serve as her motivators when she steps into the ring, but discipline is the key to her success. Ronda won a bronze medal competing in judo at the 2008 Beijing Olympics before becoming the first female fighter contracted by the UFC. Since then, her performance in the Octagon rocketed her to fame in the ring and entertainment world. “MMA is the only way I could do what I love and have a career,” Ronda says, “but money and fame is a side effect and not the purpose of my actions.”

Ronda will be making her return to the ring tonight at #UFC207in Las Vegas.
