Nexus 6P on Sprint getting January security update

Sprint has started rolling out a new update to Nexus 6P units on its network. Arriving as build version N4F261, the Android 7.1.1 based update brings along security patches for the month of January - it bumps the Android security patch level to January 5. Given that the update has just started rolling out, it may take some time before the update notification pops up on your device's screen.
