NVIDIA is included for the first time in Fast Company magazine’s annual list of the world’s 50 Most Innovative Companies.
Fast Company’s March issue cites NVIDIA’s DRIVE PX 2 system, and our latest generation of Pascal GPUs, which provide unprecedented performance and power efficiency.
Other companies on the list include Amazon, Airbnb, Apple, Facebook, Google and Netflix.
In its announcement, Fast Company writes that its editors “surveyed thousands of enterprises across the globe to identify the most notable innovations of the year and trace the impact of those initiatives on business, industry, and the larger culture.”
In addition to being featured in the overall list, NVIDIA also appears in two sub-lists. The company is ranked #2 in Transportation (after Uber and before GM), and #4 on the VR/AR list (after Snap, Google and Facebook).
