Apple’s iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will begin shipping out to consumers within the next couple of weeks. This is ultra-fast, as it’s normally three to six weeks, and the reason for this is the iPhone X.
As noted by KGI Securities, Apple’s iPhone X will land on November 3 and because of this Apple’s pre-orders are a lot softer than usual – people are holding out for the X.
For this reason, Apple is hurrying along the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus shipping dates. This all makes sense too, because Apple early adopters, usually, are getting the latest and greatest, however, this year it’s slightly different.
The latest and greatest is coming six weeks after the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, and KGI reckons A LOT of early adopters are waiting to see how the iPhone X pans out before pulling the trigger on either.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will start shipping out to customers on September 22, while pre-orders for the iPhone X will begin on October 27 with a release date happening on November 3.
