Xiaomi Redmi 5A announced: very low price, very few changes

A couple of months after the unveiling of the Redmi Note 5A it's time for the more petite model to come one stage - meet the Xiaomi Redmi 5A. The phone will start at just CNY 600 ($91/€77), the same price tag that the 4A carried before it. It is one of the most affordable Androids, period. On this tight budget, you get a 5" screen with 720p processor and a basic Snapdragon 425 chipset. The phone runs the new MIUI 9 and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage.
